Dimensional Horror & Progress

Hello everyone!

It's been a little while since our last update, but we've been busy making things. Let's get right to it.

Backerkit

We're getting our Backerkit surveys ready to send out. We've wanted to hold off on sending them out until the sculpts are finished so you know what you're getting, and we're very close to that stage, so the surveys should be going out real soon, before the end of the month.

Ether Drake Production

Anyone ordering just the Ether Drake will be very happy, and if you fill out your Backerkit surveys we'll be able to ship these out very quickly. Because...

We've got loads of them!

The resin team have been cranking through these, and we're almost up to a full amount to fulfil the KS.

We've also got loads of 2-ups being run. These are the same sized boxes, but that's a much bigger dragon!

The Automated Dreadnought is going into production at the moment, in both regular and big size. I'll head over to the mould makers later this week to get some photos for you all so you can have a look at the process, and where we're at with it.

The Dimensional Horror

Which leads me onto the most exciting part of today's update. The Dimensional Horror has been away at the sculptors, and has come back looking beautiful (well, maybe "beautiful" isn't the right word).

This is still a work in progress, as there are a few changes to make for casting purposes. For example the big swirling vortex is getting trimmed down a little so that all the lovely detail isn't lost when casting. Otherwise though, we're pretty close to being ready for print on this beasty.

So there we have it! We'll be back in the next week to keep everyone updated now we're getting closer to fulfilment, with some more pictures and more info about when to expect your surveys.

Voidspawn Early WIP

Hello everyone!

It's been a couple of weeks since the campaign ended, and we've been busy busy in the office.

Backerkit

We're setting up Backerkit now for our surveys and pledge manager. We're holding off a little while before we launch it so we can hopefully have some more progress on the last two Stretch Goals, the Voidspawn and Dimensional Horror. That should help you all have a better idea of what you'd like to add to your pledges.

It'll be launching pretty soon though! When we do launch it an email will be sent out to every backer with your survey. We'll also post about it on here, so if you don't get that email you'll know about it.

Voidspawn WIP

As the title says, today we're going to look at a little WIP of the Voidspawn. We have a new sculptor working on this one (new to us, not to sculpting). Miguel has been sculpting for a while now, and has even done some work for Prime 1, so this is good talent we've managed to rope in for this awesome project.

Early stages, just blocking in the basic shapes, but you can already see the direction it's going - I think it's going to be very cool when its finished!

Hi everyone! Lewis here again (I basically haven't left this website today).

The campaign is over and we're 100% funded! Wait, that can't be right... Sorry, I meant:

425% FUNDED!

That is absolutely incredible! With almost 400 backers, we've made an amazing venture into Stellaris miniatures, and a great start for the forthcoming game. We'll have more information on that soon, with updates coming here to all the backers first.

From everyone at TTC we'd like to say a massive THANK YOU! We didn't know what to expect from this campaign as it's a brand new space for us, but the amazing support, comments, and pledges throughout this week have just been incredible.

So What's Next?

Well first off you'll all receive emails from Kickstarter and in the next few days funds will be taken automatically. It's worth double checking your cards on your account, otherwise KS can automatically cancel your pledge, so give your profile a once over.

At TTC HQ we won't be slowing down, and will be sending out the Voidspawn and Dimensional Horror for sculpting. The Automated Dreadnought will have another round of tweaks so we can print out the regular sized one too. The Drake itself is already in production, with master moulds being worked on to make sure the casts are coming out well, and poor Joe is diligently mixing away the clear resin to pour the exclusives by hand.

Once the dust has settled here we'll be opening up the Backerkit survey. You'll all receive emails notifying you when it's up (we'll also post here too). The survey will ask a few questions and then will take you to a pledge manager for you to pick any Add-ons you wish (including additional ones if the mood takes you).

From there we'll collect all the information, cast up all the miniatures (is "miniature" really the right word for some of these??) and then post them out to you!

We may be a little quieter over the next few weeks while we get all this sorted, but we'll update everyone as much as possible, and any new information on the full game we'll let you in on too.

We did it! It's been an INCREDIBLE couple of hours, and we've done the last Stretch Goal! 

The 2-Up Dimensional Horror is now available as an Add-on! What an amazing achievement!

We've got about 30 minutes left until the campaign is over, so we'll see you over in the comments for celebrations! :D

The Dimensional Horror is unlocked!

WOW! You all have blown this campaign out of the water! Amazing!

The Dimensional Horror is now available to order. As with the Voidspawn, the sizing on this one is approximate. We'll hopefully have more information on that by the time the post-campaign survey is sent out. The game model is huge so I think we'll have to go a little smaller than that - especially if everyone keeps up the pledging and unlocks the 2-Up version! :O

Let's kick this last Stretch Goal's butt!
